Tim's Weather World: Winter Weather Preparedness Week

Today is the average date of the first measurable snow in Chicagom.  So today is a good day to kickoff Winter Weather Preparedness Week.  The National Weather Service will be offering tips and advice that will help you prepare for and get through another typically tough Chicagoland winter.  Today's focus is on how to prepare your family with a family protection plan that includes a list of items to keep handy just in case.  This brochure also includes items to keep in your car as part of "Winter Storm Survival Kit".
