I guess when the going gets tough, go for a run. As the House does its duty of impeaching, Mr. Blagojevich puts in some cardio before speaking at a press conference. It looks as if we're getting closer to removing the governor, but impeachment is just to get the ball rolling. Stay tuned for more posturing and arrogance, as Uncle Rod spins his web of deceit on the citizens of Illinois.

yeah right, why didn't the house move to impeach him 2 years ago. A bunch of hypocrites the whole lot of them. Fake anger...fake self righteousness.
This process is just to save face on the part of the IL house or representatives and some people in illinois as well as all the Chicago media... Taking this opportunity to impeach him and deride him now when they had no guts to do so before.... If they are so honorable themselves, they should examine other public offices in IL too an do their jobs instead of allowing the federal govt and national media to force their hands.

I totally agree with Rhen. It’s interesting watching the rats feed off the rat that is wounded or in this case the one that got caught and is less likely to survive. You have the corrupt Democrats trying to make sure that they remove Blago as quickly as possible.
Two-faced, deceitful and hypocrite are the basic skills that some CHURCH leaders and most POLITICIANS have perfected. Yes Blago is corrupt but lets remove R Daley, T Stroger, R Hendon, D Durban and all the other politicians, aldermen and women who have not done one thing to improve the state of Illinois. High crime rate, increase in deaths, terrible school system, poorly ran government, the rich get richer and the poor continue to live in bottomless pit of poverty and despair.
When will the people in this state get off their butts and fight for a government that is not corrupt and has the ability and willpower to do their job in a efficient and effective manner.

I listened to Gov. Blagojevich on the radio today and I have to say that he made some good points about the hunt being on for him way before now.
Are those on the Salem Execution Board genuine in their concerns or pretentious?
This may all be like when a group of kids are out throwing rocks at houses and finally one of them breaks a window; when the homeowner comes out to confront them they all act as though the window breaker is the only one throwing rocks.
Blago becomes the "Fall Guy" for the politics in the State of Illinois.
That's not to say all are bad, but there are a lot of rotten apples in the basket.

I really believe that you do get a second chance as well as being forgiven. He's messed up, and who haven't!!!!
Still it's best for the people of illinois that he step aside and allow the real work to be done.
