I watched Cyndi McCain's speech. It doesn't get any less inspiring than that. She and Laura Bush had pretty smiles and pretty clothes, but they turned the opening day of the convention into a telethon. I guess it's the least they could do with FEMA failing 3 years ago. I appreciated their thoughts concerning hurricane Gustav and the levees, but they didn't say anything about the presidential candidate and Sarah Palin, the token-pick for the Repubs.
I quickly turned away from the convention and watched Live Free or Die Hard with my wife and in-laws. Bruce Willis is more inspiring than the St. Paul convention.

"Bruce Willis is more inspiring than the Minneapolis convention."
It's a St. Paul convention... and Bruce Willis is expected (by some) to stop by the RNC this week.
See how great things come together?

I didn't catch anything b/c by the time I got home to look everyone was covering the storm in Louisiana.
Did they close it down early or do Republicans just go to bed before 10pm (you know being the goodie two shoes they are)?

Let's sum up the RNC really quick shall we....
1)Obama has no experience (if the Bush Admininstration defines "experience" heck..I'm willing to take a chance on INEXPERIENCE then!!!!)
2)Palin represents the "women" voters of America (Uh you have to EARN those "women" votes not steal em from Hillary!!)
3)I'm proud Pailin is pro-life (reference to her expectant teenage daughter). Spin at it's very best. There goes the conservative machine the "Repubs" have always depended on. Hey GOP don't talk the talk unless you can walk the walk!!!!
There's the RNC in a nutshell. Now back to the ballgames on TV!!!
