Delmarie Cobb and Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. will be guests on GML.
Do you think the Democratic Party is unified? Did Hillary trump or stump on Tuesday night? Can the democratics really beat John McCain and the Republican juggernaut?
I think that Hillary did well although I think she could have been more persuasive in terms of stating her confidence in Sen. Obama's readiness to take office.
Is the party unified? Perhaps so. Many of those who are so called Hillary supporters probably weren't going to vote for her in the first place but were simply subjects of "Operation Chaos".
I think that the Dems. can definitely beat McCain if they (Obama constituents) hit as hard and bluntly as the Republican machine does.
The Republicans have been trying to define Obama since after the primary. The Democrats should launch a campaign to define McCain. The man has a past that if it were attached to Obama the slam would have been much harder for Obama for having such a past i.e. the manner in which his first marriage desolved. I think this says something about a person's character as well as where a man's affiliation in worship is.
I believe the Democrats are united and will beat the Republicans. I believe Barack's message resonates because it penetrates all demographics.
It has been my experience when people's necessities are in question such as; food, clothing, shelter, and employment, then it becomes very easy to be color blind. Additionally, I believe the message of change reaches to the human instinct for survival as well as to one's exploration of hope. The message of the campaign is really stronger than the individual and that is what will ursher in change for America!
