Cardinal George this week announced a $12.7 million settlement in the sexual abuse cases here in Chicago.
Last night we had a victim on our show. Hear what she had to say and tell us if you think the Catholic church has done enough to help all the victims.
You can read the full story from the Chicago Tribune here.

Let's see, a woman gets $2.9 million for spilling hot coffee in her lap from Mickey D's, a judge attempts to sue a cleaners for more than $50 million over disparity involving a pair of pants, wow!
These things are questionable and maybe frivolous but abuse by those who are supposedly servants of the living GOD is inexcusable.
If you want to catch a person at their most vulnerable point deal with them on the basis of FAITH.
There is no stronger drive in a person than what they TRULY believe.
When people are manipulated through the vehicle of FAITH it PROVES to be the most destructive challenge a person can face i.e. Koresh, Jonestown, etc.
The most important component for most religious faiths is humility or brokenness. The "willingness to follow" is illustrative of humility and so when you have a corrupt leader the result is catastrophic.
I don't know that you can but a payout figure on this type of abuse but if the $12.7 million is to be divided among several individuals then I say it is a light weight settlement.
$12.7 million per person would be more like it.
