As long as there is at least one Church's Chicken in the heart of the urbanized areas not to mention the opening of a new church every 6 months...as long as there are "penny candy" stores on the front porch of at least one house every couple blocks...as long as there's someone standing on the corner of the main thoroughfares SELLING free publications that they stole from some grocery store newstand...as long as when you see the young ladies walking down the street 80% of them have hair that's not hair that they grew...as long as 85% of the young men are wearing clothes that resemble that of prison inmates who wear their clothes in such a way to advertise their backsides to those that they will call "Daddy" that day (sagging)...as long as the murder rate is affecting at least 5% of the particular culture in this area (I refuse to call a community)...and drugs are trafficked with little resistance from law enforcement...and homegrown terrorist (street gangs) are allowed to assemble and operate...oh, and as long as the same said culture (dubiously called) help keep the devices of slavery and "Jim Crowism" alive (the "N" word) along with all these others then at least we can say that all is normal in the HOOD :)
