Authorities continue to search for an armed escapee who is now accused of robbing a bank this morning in Bloomingdale and hijacking a car from a woman in Hoffman Estates.
The hijacked car was described as an 2004 gray Volkswagen Jetta with Illinois license plate A392846. It was last seen headed west on Hassel toward Barrington Road, which is near an entrance to Interstate 90.
