FEMALE SPORTS REPORTER VIOLATED

If you haven't heard by now ESPN reporter Erin Andrews was a victim of voyeurism after someone recorded her every move through a peephole while she was in a hotel room, nude.
The incident allegedly happened down in Omaha while she was covering the College Baseball World Series for ESPN.
The video quickly spread across the internet, but Andrews, ESPN, and her attorney just as quickly, had most of the footage removed from many of the sites that was circulating it and threatened to take legal action if it aired.
This truly is a pathetic, despicable act and is clearly unacceptable. How could someone stoop so low as to secretly video tape a woman in the privacy of her own hotel room and then post it on the internet for millions to see? What satisfaction can one gain by this heinous act?
I don't get it.
The sad thing this individual doesn't understand is what if this sort of incident happened to their sister, wife, daughter, girlfriend, or even their mother, how would they feel? Probably violated and pissed as hell.
That right there should've been enough for them to refrain from engaging in such an act. Unfortunately, the creep appears not to have a conscience or a brain. Talk about a cowardly act.
Sure she's a very attractive woman, great at what she does, and has a magnetic personality, but to catch her undressed without consent and knowledge is just simply wrong. Posting it for the world to see is even worse.
What one does behind closed doors is their business, and that's the way it should be, their personal business.
I hope the authorities are able to capture this individual and bring them to justice. I'm sure Andrews is hurt, embarassed and somewhat humiliated, but I believe she is strong enough to bounce back from this and land squarely on her feet.
She has the strong support of ESPN and her attorney along with the many adoring fans who follow her career.
You go girl See you this college football season on the tube.

2 Points; first, The jerk who did this to her is an ingrate. This woman could[ve be a daughter, sister, wife or someone's mother. Yes, she is a beautiful woman with what appears to be a fantastic figure - but, that part of her is for who SHE chooses to reveal it to. As a male, sorry ma'am for a few of the idiots I share that title with. Secondly, as for YOU Jerry, sorry, what you described as to the job of reporters, that's what they USED to do - report what happened. Now, everywhere you look, it's about sugar coating some stories, adding the opinion of the writer (we're too stupid to figure it out for ourselves) and let's not forget; to express and push the company line. As an example, the Patrick Kane story has him guilty without due process. Those stories have already done the damage they were intended to do - even if it turns out that the cabdriver deserved a good butt whipping. Maybe the cabbie was giving change in Afgan or Somali money. Hope I damaged the mistique of the easiest college degree (journalism) anyone could attain. About time some idiots in that field got off their high horse. Oooop's time to watch Wolf Blitzer on cable, you know, 'IN THE SITUATION ROOM' Phonies.

The thing you don't understand is reporters and anchors are not there for publicity or exposure. We are not models or actors. We are on tv to report the news because that is what we are good at and we are passionate about journalism.(or sports).
On a side note, you must not watch sports. Erin Andrews has been a repected sports reporter for years and most of us have heard of her prior to this disgusting incident.

Sure I'd love to see Erin Andrews nude!!! But I'd get so much more enjoyment out of it knowing she was right there in beside me and enjoying it just as much as me! For decent men everywhere, Miss Andrews, I apologize to you and hope they catch the person that did this, charge him to the fullest extent allowed and give you as much satisfaction as is humanly possible! Until then, we look forward to seeing you do what you really do best... give great insight to the sports that fill your passion!!! Go get 'em!!!!!
