Mayor Rudy Clay of Gary, IN says he intends to permanently memorialize the legacy of the town's most famous citizen, Michael Jackson.
There's talk of turning Jackson's childhood home at 2300 Jackson Street into a museum, and the mayor also mentioned moving the home and building a museum around it somewhere visible from the expressway.
How do you think Gary should remember Michael?

The world has lost a great man. He is and always will be the KING OF POP. R.I.P. Michael & I will never forget you.To remember him is to listen to his music & celebrate his life. That is exactly the way he would want it to be. I grew up with Michael & he died on the same day, my 1 year anniversary is for my Triple Bypass surgery to save my life.I will now never forget this day for 2 reasons. God love you Michael & peace be with you always.

I'm 13 and I've been listening to Michael Jackson since i was a baby. It's so sad. I remember in 4th or 5th grade I went to school with one glove in my hand just like Micheal Jackson did. Now on my 13 birthday (yesterday) he passed away. =/. I'll always remember him
I found this poem and it makes me think of him:
A million words will not bring you back, I know because I've tried. Neither would a million tears. I know, because I've cried.

To forget, eulogize & praise Michael Jackson upon his death- never. What of the innocent children he infected with his pedophilia? The "greatest-love" one could have, is to share one's bed with a child. Until it happens to you, pedoplilia is harmlessly clean fun.

Musically, there will never be another like him. His spirit, his love, his unique personality captured the attention and hearts all. And right now my heart is broken, and I liken to pain to a catostrophic Earthquake with endless aftershock. I don't think I will ever breath the same. I love you, Michael.
