More drama for Drew Peterson.
The former Bolingbrook police sergeant will make his first court appearance this morning for the drowning death of his third wife.
Peterson is scheduled to be arraigned today on charges of first-degree murder in the death of Kathleen Savio. She was found dead in a dry bathtub in 2004. Her death was originally ruled an accidental drowning.
Peterson was arrested during a traffic stop Thursday near his Bolingbrook home and is now being held on $20 million bond.
Authorities say Peterson is also a suspect in the mysterious disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson. But he hasn't been charged with Stacy's disappearance at this point.
Savio's 73-year-old father said the arrest was long overdue and that he never thought his daughter committed suicide.
Some of my friends have said that if Peterson was a black or Hispanic man, he would have surely been arrested and tried long ago. What do you think?

If he was a minority he would've been arrested right away and convicted even if they hadn't exhumed his 3rd wife's body or no remains were ever found.

If Peterson was black or hispanic there would be no differance as long as the circumstances remain the same. That the person is an ex cop, is arrogant, knows the system, and has a yearning for publicity. Peterson may be guilty however there is no physical evidence linking him to the crime. There are many people innocent in jail without regard to color. A husband is the prime suspect no matter the race. The police instantly gravitate to the husband or father whether right or wrong. Which is why many killers are still at large.Who cares about race when innocent people and their families are tortured by murderers.

If drew was black he would have been charged, found quilty before a trial and had to prove himself innocent with a pubic defender as his attorney.
