At a march against gun violence, Father Michael Pfleger says his way of sounding the alarm on gun violence is gaining national attention. Pfleger decided to fly an American flag upside down in protest outside his church this week. He's calling it a signal for distress throughout the city, a way to let everyone know youth violence needs to stop. So far, 36 CPS students have been killed this year. Pfleger says he's been receiving calls from around the nation from people who are going to fly their flags the same way this week in protest. Is this too much? Is this disrespectful? Are there other ways of getting attention on this issue? The plan seems to be working since people are talking about it. The flag outside his church was even torn down this week before he put it back up. There are marches every weekend, but this one act has gained more attention than many of those protests. What else can someone do? Agree or disagree, people are paying attention.

I'm in full support of the Flag of the united States of America posed as inverted at this time. I also think the Gadsden Flag should be posed beneath it.
To the neighbor who thinks "better choices" should be made I would ask of that person to choose of the two titles for America is the one which identifies a a free Republic.

You see, without knowing the difference, one can not understand the meaning of our nation's icon flown upside down.
I would almost be willing to bet that neighbor thinks the Federal Reserve is a branch of the government of the united States of America, and doesn't realize it is the executive branch of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
America's economy is fascist. Economic Fascism is when commerce and free trade is ruled by the state. The merger of corporate and government powers. Look around yourselves!
