Severe Weather Could Have Been Worse

Hundreds of people in parts of northwest Indiana and Illinois spent the day cleaning up from last night’s fast-moving storms.

One home in Dyer, Indiana took a direct hit from the storm. High winds uprooted a massive tree causing it to come crashing down on the roof.

Other than some damaged homes and businesses, nothing really serious happened last night.

But as we know from Hurricane Katrina Mother Nature cannot be controlled and can be downright mean to us.

And thankfully, she was not in too bad of a mood last night.
