Numb to Violence?

From Thursday night until Friday afternoon, there were 11 people shot, three dead in four separate shootings. Does this make you think? Are you numb to the violence? Another march was held in the Cragin neighborhood Saturday afternoon. It's one way police say they can recruit neighborhoods to help out in the fight against gun and gang violence. There are more than 100,000 gang members in the Chicago area and just about 14,000 officers in the force. THEY NEED YOUR HELP. It can't be solved without the help of the community. What grabs your attention when it comes to violence? Kids are dying everyday. You can't complain about the violence if you don't do anything about it. Murders are down so far this year about 15%. Do you care enough to help out? Chicago Police are asking for your input. Just because you hear about violence all the time, but your safe, doesn't mean you shouldn't fight for change. It could effect someone you know sooner than you think.
