Why is it whenever one of the Chicago's sports team is about to win their respective title, Mayor Richard Daley has bet the mayor of the opposing team's city?
And true to form, as the Chicago Blackhawks prepare to take on the Detroit Red Wings, Daley has made a friendly wager with the new mayor of the motor city.
The problem is Chicago is blessed with some many good indigenous food products with which the mayor so liberally bets, stuffed pizza; Chicago-Style hot dogs; italian ice, et cetera.
What are we gonna get from Detroit?: A Little Caesar's pizza? How fair is that?
So what do think of these so-called friendly and often mismatched wagers?
Is this a silly tradition or what?
