I had the opportunity to speak with Blackhawks President John McDonough Thursday afternoon, just hours before his team faced off against the Calgary flames in their first post-season appearance since 2002.
This is what he had to say:
"I know the journey is going to take us a lot farther. So there's never going to be a point where we are going to be satisfied where we are, because really, if you stop to admire what any of us have done, you've stopped for a second. We're not quite there yet but hopefully there's a couple more months to play."
How far will the Hawks go?
Can their speed and goaltending beat out the experience of the Calgary Flames?
How much credit do you give to the Hawks front office for the team's turnaround?
