Just when we thought we were done with winter, Mother Nature says.. not so fast!
Guess, we hearty Chicagoans should be used to this. (I remember covering a couple of April snowstorms. That was no fun.)
The weather is one reason why Forbes Magazine recently named Chicago one of the most miserable cities to live. That crossed my mind as I'm grumbled while driving to work in the storm at four in the morning.
Still, thirty thousand runners will show Sunday morning for the Shamrock Shuffle which is the official kick-off to our running season.
Plus, didn't the U.S. Census just report the Chicago-area population is growing? Obviously, people still want to live here no matter how miserable the weather may be.
You know what they say-- if you don't like the weather in Chicago, wait five minutes. It will change.
