What started out as a fun night with my girls, quickly turned into a finger-pointing and eye-gawking night when I spotted Drew Peterson and his girlfriend/ fiancé walk up and take a seat at the bar at Bar Louie in Bolingbrook.
I couldn't help myself. I let out a gasp (more from shock than amazement) and said, "Drew Peterson is here." My friends Hanna and Lauren were the first two to hear me. They both said "What?!!" and quickly turned around to face the opposite end of the bar (which was directly in my line of vision). At that moment Peterson looked up and for a second our eyes met... and no it was not love at first sight...
Both of my friends quickly turned back around and omg'd. I broke eye contact and turned to the friends that were standing behind me and dropped the bombshell.
I looked around the bar and I noticed a lot of people were watching Peterson as he and his girlfriend, Christina Raines, went on with a very public display of affection. Clearly the two were out not just for date night but, with the hopes of attracting some attention. I guess they succeeded in doing both.
While Peterson and Raines were at the bar some people were coming up to them. None of the interactions appeared to be confrontational- I think the people who strongly dislike Peterson chose to stay away. A lot more chose to leave the bar.
In his public appearances on various media outlets including CLTV, Peterson has never come across a little bit concerned or remorseful over Stacy's disappearance. Instead he's courted the media attention - having every major and local news outlet descend on my small and quiet community.
Bolingbrook is a village of about 70,000 people. We're not even big enough to be considered a town. However, within the last five years the town has seen an influx in growth. And then news hits that the wife of a former police officer is missing and all hell breaks loose. As we began to learn more about Peterson, we all became entangled in the bizarre web that is his life. And the stories were no longer about Stacy’s disappearance but, Peterson’s latest antics. It’s been over a year since Stacy disappeared and while most of the news trucks are gone the man behind the story lingers.
I didn’t know Stacy, but I know some people who did. They cry every time her picture flashes across their TV screens. Because it’s not just a news story to them, it’s a reminder of a void in their lives. It’s a suppressed memory that comes to the front of their mind every time they pass her favorite restaurant. Seeing Peterson and Raines out having a good time was a reality check for me. I write stories everyday about people who’ve had something traumatic or exciting happen in their lives – but it’s never hit me as hard as when I physically saw the two of them in public.
When I go out of town and people ask me where I am from, if I say Bolingbrook- they say, "Ooh Drew Peterson." … they used to say “Oh, where the other IKEA Store is.” For whatever reason Peterson is a hot topic with the media and I guess he will remain one until charges are filed or Stacy is found.

Drew Peterson needs to be arrested!
Glasgow needs to do something, this is getting ridiculous. Their office already let the charges they could of arrested him for regarding mail, and insurance fraud, slip thru their hands. The statutes expired a few days ago. Is this another murder cover up for the two time wife killer?
It seems to me that the ISP, Coroners officer, and the Will County legal system is protecting this murderer for unknown reasons maybe a bribe? Does he have something on somebody? Maybe a case of he was one of their own? The Blue Wall? Any other person would of been charged by now!! What is the hold up?
DCFS is another subject! Why? has DCFS not stepped in to do something about him? He takes his small children on the MANCOW show. Drew is in the studio with his girlfriend Christina Raines. What are they talking about? They are talking about Sex! Christina Raines even talks about doing Mancow. They talk about the kids Mother. He has the media, non stop coming in questioning him about their mother, in front of the kids. The media is questioning the children. All the while, Drew is telling lies. Drew is talking about their mother like she is a piece of trash in front of the children. He tells the two little ones she is on vacation. He tells the two older ones, she has run away with some other man. Stacy would never run away with some other man. In fact Drew.. Stacy went to the Pastor to tell him you murdered Kathleen. She even told him details that nobody else could of known how you did it. Stacy also went to a divorce attorney to file for divorce on you Drew! She didn't make it till Monday to file that divorce.The same thing happened to Kathleen she didnt make it till the divorce was final now did she? She ended up Murdered in the bathtub!
DCFS,you can hear clearly hear on the Mancow show the young child crying and screaming in the back ground cause the little one fell down got hurt in the studio. Drew was going to keep on talking just ignore the child till Mancow said Drew do something with your kid. Then we have Drew, on the Q101 show flapping his jaw fighting with Christinas exboyfriend on the phone.Setting up boxing matches, live on the radio. In the back ground you can hear Christina Raines screaming in the back ground to hang up the phone,and cussing. In the meantime, children present in the home listening to this circus. Drew didnt consider his childrens feelings moving 2 more children into the home, along with the other woman. Just moves them in , says he is divorcing their mother and this is their new mommy! Is this healthy for these children DCFS? Does this so called Father seem like sound mind to you? He seems unfit to me!Seems like an unhealthy environment to me. I don't know maybe the people can comment on this as well!
What will it take for DCFS to remove these children? If you talk to anybody that knows Christina they say she is far from a proper mother! Nobody has looked into this what kind of a woman is around these children raising them. It has been told she barely was around her own children and out drinking it up. Do they check into her back ground to see what kind of person is around these children, who have suffered enough? No they haven't! These kids are exposed daily to things they shouldn't see or hear.It is not a healthy or nurturing environment for these children at all! Their mental well being should be the most important thing to the state. It obviously is not! They allow these children to get further damaged daily and DO NOTHING!
GLASGOW, DCFS.........SHAME ON YOU for allowing this two time murderer to destroy these children after their Mothers were so selfishly taken away! He should be behind bars where he belongs!

DRE PETERSON & CRISTINA RAINES NEED TO STAY WITH THEIR CHILDREN & NOT SHOW THEIR UGLY ATTENTION SEEKING MUGS IN PUBLIC...
