When I was 14, I was thinking about my first boyfriend, my first kiss, if someone would ever ask me to the prom and if I'd ever get married.
I was NOT thinking about violence or getting shot! I wonder if Gregory Robinson ever worried about those things?

On Friday, the 14 year old was shot and killed while riding in a car with his cousin. Officials say Robinson wasn't the intended target of the shooting.
A freshman at Simeon Career Academy, Robinson is the 28th Chicago Public School student killed this school year and there are still three months to go until summer break! This is outrageous, despicable and downright sad.
Young men and women are dying before they've even had a chance to live. Now I don't know what it will take to stop the bloodshed, but I do think it’s up to adults to try and find a solution or we will continue to lose more good kids like Gregory Robinson.
