3 hours from Skokie? 4 to Oak Brook? Last night's snow could not have come at a worse time for evening commuters, causing travel times to skyrocket. The clean-up continues this morning and Chicagoland also prepares for another storm, due to blow into the are tomorrow evening.
According to the Breaking News Center, "Tuesday's snow hit a record mark for December 16 in Chicago, with 4.8 inches, according to preliminary reports from the National Weather Service. The prior record, set in 1973, was 4.3 inches."
How did the weather affect your drive? Did your commute double? Triple? Did you see any plows on the road? Sound off here.

Yesterday's commute was HORRIFIC!!! It took my husband 3 hrs to get our son's daycare making him 2 hrs late picking him up & costing us $85 in late fees!!! I feel that we need to do better about getting these streets cleaned. We can get money for tickets, parking meters, smoking on the el, cameras at the stoplights....what about street cleaning? I realize it would be great to have the olympics here in 2016, but clean the streets so that we can live to see it. I understand it was a 10 car accident this morning..GET RIGHT MAYOR DALEY!!!!
