So, we have to ask...what did you think of Michelle Obama's election night dress?
It was red and black, bold and daring.
On the night that Barack Obama claimed presidential victory, the future first lady was all dressed up in a knee-length number designed by Narciso Rodriguez.
Throughout the campaign, Michelle Obama has shown off a real sense of down-to-earth style.

The $148 dress she wore on "The View," sold out immediately at White House/Black Market stores.

During her address at the Democratic National Convention, she wore Chicago designer, Maria Pinto.

This was one of my favorite looks from the night Obama clinched the Democratic presidential nomination. The future first lady is already drawing comparisons to first lady of style, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

That brings us back to the election night dress. I must admit...I was surprised. The black bolero jacket kind of confused me.
What do you think? Was the dress a hit or a miss?
Disclaimer: In the grand scheme of this historic election, fashion registers pretty low on the scale of importance. But hey, it's interesting to watch!

I thought that was an ugly dress, I expected something nicer or more colorful for election night. Really showed her bowed legs-- not very flattering!!
