Tonight is definitely a "must watch" night of television, especially for people living in Chicago and Los Angeles. At 8pm, the Vice Presidential candidates will be debating. Then you have the Cubs and Dodgers at 8:30pm for Game 2 of the Division series.
Given Sarah Palin's poor performance during interviews in which she seems uniformed and Joe Biden's propensity for saying stuff "that's kind of stupid," (according to his friend Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri) it should make for good TV.
On the other hand, Cubs fans have been waiting 100 years for another shot at the World Series and tonight's game is going to be pivotal.
I'm betting, if the debates start off "interesting," people are going to have a hard time switching over to the Cubs game. And even if they do, there will be some switching back and forth or at least a split screen thing going on.
What about you? Will you be watching one or both? If only one, which one and why?
Check out what's at stake during tonight's V-P debate from Tribune Political Reporter Rick Pearson.

Am I the only one who still uses split screen? I will be watching both at the same time with the debate volume up. I wouldn't miss either for the world! Go Cubs!
