Some would argue newspapers are past their prime. But I wouldn’t say that to the folks at the Chicago Tribune. The 161-year-old paper is getting a “lift.”
Growing up in Chicago, I always remember the Trib as being somewhat "stuffy."
Now that I'm a part of the company (the Chicago Tribune & CLTV are both owned by the Tribune Company), I've learned that's not entirely true. And now that Sam Zell and his people have taken over, they have really shaken things up.
