By now you have heard about Jesse Jackson's crude comments about Barack Obama, whispered off-camera during an appearance on Fox News.
Here's Regina Waldroup's report from this morning:
Regina went down to Hyde Park this morning to get reaction there.

Jessie is bitter. He ran and didn't even get as far as the front door. So to answer your question, "Did Jessie's comment hurt Barack?" How can a LOSER hurt a WINNER?

The man who just spoke on CLTV, Gerod? made extremely emotional and uninsightful comments. He should learn the history of the civil rights movement and some information regarding the make-up of Jesse Jackson, as well as his valuable contributions to society. He should not simply speak off the cuff. He should look beyond the stereotypes concerning Rev. Jackson that are old and that were created out of bitterness. He should not rely on these stereotypes in forming his opinions. Obama does in fact speak down to African Americans because he knows there will be no repercussions. If you are Black and have generally accepted and become immune to the racial insults, etc. that have been historically borne by the race, then you probably do not become offended by stereotypic comments such as the ones made by Obama. Because Jackson rightfully feels offended, does not mean that he's old school, jealous or whatever other label the speaker chose to attach to him. Obama makes negative comments against African Americans in an effort to obtain white conservative votes. No matter what one thinks of Jesse Jackson, this is the reality!
