The Benefits of Stretching

Stretching is so important but so many of us don't do enough of it. I recently went to Exhale Spa in the Gold Coast for a massage that not only felt great, but also helped stretch muscles I didn't know I had.

You have to realize, I haven't stretched on a regular basis since I played baseball competitively for about 20 years ago. I got together with Jessica Neumann who's a massage therapist at Exhale. She put me through a massage called Body Enlightenment which was developed at Exhale. Body Enlightenment was developed to help athletes who workout muscles on a regular basis.

You have to see the piece on one of the future Living Healthy shows, but I'll tease you with this: at one point, Jessica, who's maybe 5 foot, balances me in mid air on her feet and stretches my spine. Seriously, it was one of the craziest massages ever, but when I was finished, I felt great! For more info, you should call Stacy Levy, General Manager at Exhale (312-753-6500).
