If You Must Eat Late at Night

I'm one that usually doesn't like to eat a heavy meal late but a few weeks ago, I made an exception!

I was working for ESPN at Georgetown as part of their Midnight Madness broadcast. My partner, Bill Rafftery recommended we go to one of his favorite spots after, Martins in Georgetown.

We were both starving since neither of us had eaten dinner cause of the broadcast. I looked at my watch and said, "it's 11:45am and if I eat a burger, I'll be up all night, and I have an 8am flight...mmmm...what to do?"

Well, they had a Bison Burger on the menu. It was very lean, no fat, and let me tell you...delicious!!! I don't know if it was the quality of the meat or what, but I slept like a baby (for a few hours at least). Moral of the story, if you're going to eat just before you go to bed, make sure you have something that's lean!
