Lou's Diet Diary: Healthy Snacking

Ok, if you've read my blog in the past, you know my downfall is CHIPS!!! I'm a chip freak!!! I'm addicted to them and all kinds...Sun Chips, barbequed chips, pretzels, Lay's baked chips, tortilla chips--all of them!!!

I need something to snack on so my wife gave me this idea: Mix a bunch of different snacks in a plastic bag that are a little healthier than just plain ole potato chips.

On my way to New York, I filled up a plastic bag with salt-free almonds (almonds are great for you!), peanuts, walnuts, baked Lay's potato chips, pretzels, and Kasugai Roasted Hot Green Peas. I've been chowing down on my "mixed bag" of snacks the last 48 hours and it's perfect.

If you're like me and you love to snack on chips, try this route. It still allows you to snack, but a little healthier!
