Cartilage Transplants: Become Active Again

| | Comments (0)

For many of us in our 30's, 40's or 50's, our sport playing days are over. Today, we try and stay active with excercise at the gym and other fun activities (like me, who gets a workout hanging out with my 3-year old niece - I'm not sure she ever stops running around).

But why is this? What's causing us not to play basketball or tennis or softball anymore? Okay, our busy lifestyles are probably one reason. But another reason is past injuries and abuse on our joints - leaving many of us with little or no cartilage in our knees, ankles or elbows.

The ability to play a sport brought happiness and health to many of us, so why not bring that joy and happiness back.

And in Chicagoland, you can with Cartilage transplants. It's a possible option if you're looking to get back on that playing field. I mean who doesn't want to pretend like they're Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods or Pete Sampras again?
