Lou's Diet Diary: Pigging Out at the Sox Game

I told you that eating right during these baseball days is going to be tough, and it sure is! I was good at lunch, eating about a quarter pound of chicken salad with low fat mayo. I also had some pretzels with the chicken salad. But last night? Oh was I bad! Real bad!!!

My friend Chris Condotti invited me to the White Sox game against the Twins, and he had "scout seats." Don't know if you've sat in the "scout seats," but along with sitting right behind home plate, the $250/ticket also gives you ALL YOU CAN EAT all night. And guess what? I can't control myself at buffets! Before the game, I had, (are you ready for this?) a pile of barbequed pulled pork, huge slice of roast beef, smaller piece of turkey, small piece of pork, macaroni, a little taco salad, a little regular salad with "bad for me" dressing, a cracker, and some other things that I just picked off of tables. I also had a beer and a Diet Coke. I swear, I asked for a Michelob Ultra---which would've been better on the calories--but they didn't have it. Now remember, I told you that it was ALL YOU CAN EAT, the WHOLE GAME!!! So during the game, I had a bag of peanuts, a jumbo hot dog, 3 lite beers, some vodka fruity drinks, and then an oatmeal cookie after. Honestly, I probably put down 3,000 calories Tuesday night alone! If I had those "scout seats" for a season, I'd be 400 pounds!!!
