Packing a lunch for work can be good for your wallet and waistline, too! Here are some healthy lunch options from registered dietician Christine Palumbo:

Apple and Cheese Sandwich
-Light cheddar cheese
-Whole wheat bread
-Crisp Granny Smith apple
*Skip the mayo and dressing and substitute mustard instead

Turkey Wrap
-Whole wheat tortilla wrap
-Low-fat turkey breast
-Bell peppers
-Black olives
*Spread on some hummus for an extra kick

Veggie Pasta Salad
-Wheat or white pasta
-Grilled veggies
-Light Olive Oil
-Balsamic dressing
-Dash of salt and pepper


Turkey on Whole Wheat

-Low-fat turkey breast
-Lettuce
-Tomato
*For an extra zing, add a teaspoon of hummus
