Hey there everybody. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see "Fast and Furious," but I did catch the new Greg Mottola dramedy "Adventureland." There was just too much teen angst flowing in me to pass this one up. My review ran on CLTV News this morning, and I thought I'd share it with you here. Enjoy!

Wes Craven's original 1972 film was shocking, appalling, mind-blowing, and just all kinds of blowing - why in the world would someone attempt to remake it? And could they succeed? I was very excited to read about this on Deadline Hollywood Daily. "The Orphanage" director Juan Antonio Bayona has been tapped to helm the third installment of the "Twilight" series. I don't know how crazy I am about the books, but Bayona is a phenomenal talent. "The Orphange" was one of my favorite flicks of 2007, about a mother searching for her missing son in a creepy old orphanage.

It doesn't take much for "Twilight's" Bella to make that leap. You know, the one where she finds out the love of her life sucks the blood out of living creatures - and decides to spend alone-time with him anyway? And despite being face to face with the vile nature of vampirism, she comes to the conclusion that it might be the way to go. Oh, the humanity!

"Atonement" is a period piece. . It's a movie about love, guilt, and the horrors of war. But don't let the term "period piece" scare you away. This is one of the most exhilirating movies of the year. My full review is right after the jump....
