Welcome to Wardrobe Wednesday (and apparently, alliteration headquarters)!
Day in and out, I see all you fantastic stylistas strutting down Michigan Avenue... and only sometimes have the nerve to stop and ask where you got your bag, shoes, billowing skirt, etc. Bahar and I were hoping the feeling was mutual -- so, we're going to post our favorite outfits from the week...
By all means... steal a look, let a cool jewel inspire you, and hit up some of our favorite shops... afterall, we try to wear the best of the Midwest.
Threads:
Dress: American Apparel ($36, the latest mini-dent to my paycheck)
Leggings: American Apparel ($34, love me some Nylon!)
Belt: Randolph Antique Market ($10, bargained down from $12)
Flats: Steve Madden (can't remeber -- but knowing me, a sale bin somewhere)
Thoughts:
It's not everyday that I wake up and think, "Head-to-toe Spandex, yes please!" But I just got this 'dress' and can't help but wear something new right away. Truth be told, I stole the look from a waitress at The Roof sporting the ballerina-chic style. Between that and the tights, I'm like a walking ad for American Apparel! The belt is one of my many gems plucked from the Randolph Antique Market... and the shoes are oldies, but goodies. Also, aren't you digging on the view from the Tribune Tower rooftop? A beautiful background is the ultimate accessory...
