I think I deserve it because the last concert I went to was the Rolling Stones in the late 70s......

I can't bare the thought that I am going to miss this monumental event yet again. I have a visitor in town from San Francisco who is about to leave for the Peace Corps in Africa in a few months. That weekend is our last time to see each other for two years. I can't afford 2 tickets to Lolla, but both being huge live music fans, didn't know what to do! If anything, help me prove to a San Franciscan that Chicago IS the greatest city in the US and can host all the best bands in an unbelievable setting.

I could go with the sad stoy that both my boyfriend and I lost our jobs due to the economy and haven't even gotten so much as a bite yet and it's been SEVERAL months of trying, but instead I'll say this...funemployment has been grand. I love exploring the city on the cheap - clearly I wouldn't be able to afford to actually buy tix but I would love to go and did I also mention that we have used our time of funemployment to volunteer for various children's charities. That's gotta count for something, right?!

My bf of 3 years walked away from our relationship. After rehabing his health back from the dead, helping him finish school, supporting him emotionally, spiritually, financially, and being a good gf he gave up on us. I just want to have a good time and what better avenue then to take a friend to the concert and get kissed by the almighty sun! Life is good.

I believe i deserve the tickets because Depeche Mode is my favorite group. I am a single man raising my daughter. My daughters mother decided she didn't want to have the responsibility of being a parent she decided the club life is more important then taking care of her child which mean I have to be her father and mother I also have all the financial responsibility. Needless to say I dont have extra money to spend on tickets so the only way I can go is if I win these tickets.

I belive I deserve it because in one week I had one child graduate from High School and one from Kindergarten ( plus there is a 20 year old and a first grader)!! So Mom really, really no really needs a great day out....:)

I am an old fan from way back, on both depeche mode and beastie boys.I was and am still a very interresting and diverse 39 year old african hebrew mother of 4 . married 12 years and have still held on to my youthful spirit ,diversity and LOOKS! I have devoted alot of time raising my children, whom are also diverse.
