Happy Fashion Friday, Metromixers!
As of today, Jackie and I are going to start posting some of our favorite outfits right here on the blog.
Why? Because we share a mutual love for fashion and take pride in looking stylish on the cheap. How cheap? How about five bucks for a killer vintage belt cheap?
We’re here to help you embrace your inner fashionista, so whenever we stumble upon a new store, great deal, or brilliant style tip, you’ll be the first to know. Enjoy!
Threads:
Jeans: Gap (Best $19 Gap purchase to-date)
Belt: Gap (A relic from my high school days)
Boots : Frye Boots (At $300+, these babies are pricey, but they instantly make everything I wear 100 times cooler, which makes them 100 percent worth it.)
Blouse: Loehmann’s (My mom’s got good style, no?)
Thoughts:
When the mercury drops during otherwise sizzling summer days, I jump at the opportunity to break out my boot collection because let’s face it, the jeans-in-boot look is an effortless way to show some style. I paired my broken-in Frye’s with a hand-me-down blouse and classic skinnnies to achieve a western –inspired look. The lace frill gives this get-up a soft, feminine touch.
