The "Legobama" was created by Andy Mullady, who in a strange twist of fate, owns the men's boutique Revolver that provides my clothing on "metromix." He tells me that it took him quite a while to make the portrait and hundreds of dollars in legos....which is probably why the minimum bid on Ebay is set at $2,000.
