You read that right. Bill Murray is taking his act to another level this weekend. It might be old news, but the comedian with close ties to Chicago will jump out of an airplane at the Air and Water Show on August 15th, with hopes of landing on North Avenue Beach. Castaways better have a table with a great seat ready for him, because if he pulls this off, it'll bring down the house. The Brady Bunch's Florence Henderson is scheduled to sing the national anthem, and Gary Sinise's band will play afterwards. All of the hoopla should begin around 3 p.m.
Bill has a new movie coming out. Watch the trailer for it after the jump!
The movie is called "City of Ember." Here's the description from the studio...
For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights - underground. But Ember's once powerful generator is failing... and the great lamps that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. Now, in a race against time, the citizens must search Ember for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city's existence, and escape before the lights go out forever.
And here's the trailer. What do you think? I'm still on the fence, but Bill is the man, so it could be good!
