Hollywood Jolt 7/25/08: Director's Cut!

This is the Hollywood Jolt, a weekly mashup of all the best celebrity news, with a little bit of humor. Because my producers think two minutes of this nonsense is quite enough, I've included an entire EXTRA MINUTE, just for my friends on the internets! Love you guys! Enjoy!

Marcus Leshock:

Emily-

Thank you very much for your comment. It is well informed and intelligent. I will take this into regard in the future, and had no intent to be insensitive to victims of domestic abuse. And yes, I realize it will take much more than flowers for the parties involved to remedy this situation. Thank you for watching and for the feedback!

Emily Aughinbaugh:

There is nothing funny about domestic violence - and certainly not the idea that "Batman" can simply offer his mother better flowers on Mother's Day to mitigate the damage of abusing her and his own sister. Violence against women is an epidemic worldwide that destroys individuals, homes and communities. No country has been able to fight this crime successfully, and Marcus Leshock's insensitive and foolish attempt at humor over human tragedy is sad and counterproductive. I respectfully ask that you give a bit more thought to your "humor" in the future.
