yes, I'm talking about Tim Horton's. Named after legendary NHL player Tim Horton, we are sadly not blessed with any Tim's locations in Chicagoland (which, by the way, were very much the inspiration behind the fictional 'Stan Mikita's Donuts' in "Wayne's World").
Luckily there's one right near the Buffalo airport, so I hit it up on the way to catch my flight back to Chicago after being home for Christmas. Mmmmm...I almost didn't want to check in for my flight. It's baffling that one can't find good donuts in Chicago. Dunkin? Krispy Kreme? Puh-PLEASE. If someone were to open a Horton's franchise in Chicago, it would surely be the doorway to a fortune. Hmm...on that note....................*poof*
