For the fall session, Lillstreet Art Center offers a new Graphic Novel Class with renowned cartoonist Nicole Hollander. Adults will learn to combine words and pictures to create a narrative while heightening their drawing skills and experimenting with different voices and characters. Students will expand storytelling abilities and develop their own storyboards. By the end of the class session, students will have completed their own short graphic novel. Nicole Hollander's acclaimed syndicated comic strip Sylvia appears nationally in 30 newspapers and online six days a week. For more information, visit nicolehollander.com.
