Board members take on the important responsibility of providing governance for their not-for-profit organization. They may not be well versed on the organization's mission, but how much do they know about its finances? Part of the role of a board member, whether or not they have a financial background, is to provide financial oversight and protect the assets of the organization. As a board member, learn the very basics of your financial responsibilities: what you need to know and be aware of to ensure your not-for-profit's financial health.
Time: 9am-12pm.
Presenter: John E. Adams, CPA - CFP, Rainbow PUSH Coalition.
Cost: $40.
