Midwest Heart Foundation's 3rd Annual Heart to Heart Event will take place at the Hyatt Lodge on the McDonald's campus. This year's theme is The Ultimate Tailgate Party. Put on your favorite athletic apparel for a casual night of live music, great food and much more to help save children's lives by supporting the Young Hearts for Life® Cardiac Screening Program.

The Young Hearts For Life® Cardiac Screening is a free EKG (Electrocardiogram) screening program developed by Midwest Heart Foundation to identify high school students at risk for sudden cardiac death. The screening involves a simple 3-minute EKG administered at area high schools during the regular academic year. The program was first implemented in January 2006 and to date, over 32,000 students have been screened. Young Hearts for Life® is the largest screening program of its kind in the U.S.

Community support is essential for the Young Hearts for Life® Cardiac Screening Program to continue to reach more children. The fundraising event is an opportunity to support these potentially life-saving screenings.
