The Hair Ball is a wild, Cats In Space-themed hair fashion show to benefit Tree House Humane Society, a no-kill, cageless cat shelter dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured, abused and neglected stray cats.
The Hair Ball will be a theatrical, flamboyant fashion show with models from 10 different Chicago salons strutting their stuff on the cat walk. The show will be emceed by Miss Foozie and music will be mixed by DJ Demchuk (WZRD Modern Love). Awards will be given for the more creative and outrageous hairstyles.
$35 includes entry into the show, a drink on the house, some vegetarian eats and a chance to win one of many fabulous door prizes! Silent auction items including a cruiser bike and massage & acupuncture sessions, among others, will be available for bid all evening. All proceeds raised will benefit the cats of Tree House.

Tree House Humane Society was founded in 1971 as one of the first cageless, no-kill shelters, and we have since expanded and enhanced our services to become the premier shelter specializing in the care of sick, injured, abused and neglected stray cats in the country. Tree House offers many other valuable programs, including our Low-cost Spay/Neuter Program, Feral Friends TNR Program, Pet Loss Grief Support Group, Humane Investigations Team, Youth Volunteer Program, Animal-Assisted Therapy, Behavior Hotline, Pet Food Pantry and Education Outreach Program. To date we have found homes for nearly 15,000 animals.
