Take a step to end homelessness with DuPage PADS. Serious runners, fun runners and fun walkers will all enjoy this fundraising event. Run 10K or 5K or enjoy the 3K walk on this CARA-approved course along the Prairie Path and through scenic Wheaton to help raise funds for DuPage PADS programs.

Registration fees are $25 for the 10K or 5K Run and $20 for the 3K Walk. New this year!  When you collect $125 or more in donations, your registration is free!

After the race, enjoy refreshments, music and visit vendor booths. All registered participants are entered into a raffle. The awards ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m., and will be hosted by Marcella Raymond, WGN Reporter. Awards will be given for the top three runners in several age groups.

Proceeds will fund programs such as Life Skills counseling and Employment Readiness for people looking to transition back into the community, and provide Interim (Overnight), Transitional and Permanent Supportive housing for homeless men, women and children in DuPage County.

Volunteers are needed for PADS Run/Walk 2008 to set-up, help on the course and take down after the event. Don't miss this great opportunity to help support housing solutions for people who are homeless!
