The Des Plaines Historical Society presents a theatrical and musical event, "Tales of the River," 3PM and 7PM, Saturday and Sunday Aug. 23 & 24 at the Historic Methodist Campground in Des Plaines. Tales of the River is an original production based on the "Spoon River Anthology" and tells the stories of past residents of Des Plaines.

Tickets are $5 and $4 for groups of ten or more.
