Have you seen this fireplace?

If your home has a grand fireplace featuring three lions, a crown and the phrase "Semper Eadem," then someone is looking for you.

Chicago Tribune is reporting that Martin Kirby, a British newspaper columnist is looking for the 500-year old fireplace which is said to have warmed the room where Queen Elizabeth I slept in 1574. Records show that it was purchased by a Chicago collector in 1907 and after that it seems to have fallen off the map.

So, take a good look at your fireplace before remodeling...this valuable piece could be hiding in plain sight!
