Nothing makes you feel refreshed like a few hours at the day spa - facial, massage, maybe a mani/pedi...nothing major, but it's amazing how those few hours can change the way you feel and act; thus, making you more appealing to those you come into contact with.
See where I'm going with this? If your home is on the market - why not refresh it so that others (read: buyers) can see it as the charming home that you know it to be?
Spend an afternoon giving your place a few nips and tucks. An easy place to start is with paint - on the walls, yes. But don't forget the trim.
Other easy treatments include switching out your hardware - cabinet pulls, door knobs, faucets and switch plates - to update your place without spending too much cash. And for heaven's sake, don't forget the face of your home, the one thing EVERYONE sees first! Make sure it looks fresh and well-kept. Even if that means painting or replacing the front door or shutters. In order to see all those fantastic changes you made inside, buyers have to want to walk through that front door!
