According to Bankrate.com, there has been a surge in homeowners calling brokers and loan officers about refinancing. That's because mortgage rates have been hovering around 5% on average!!! And while not all of us have the ability to refinance right now, if you can, it's probably a great time to do so. And you never know, rates change on a daily basis, so get in if you can.
