All of those little imperfect quirks that you've gotten used to in your home probably won't appeal to buyers. Time to take stock and employ some elbow grease to get those dingy walls painted, replace that stained carpeting or fix those squeaky door hinges! Look at your home as a buyer would - completely detached - and make note of all those less-than-perfect points that might send potential buyers into the arms of another seller (one that took the time to fix-up their house)!
