Green Scene

As things are cooling off outside, the inside of your home is probably ready for a little heat-up, courtesy of your furnace. You may not be mentally ready yet for the official start of the cold season, but it won't be too long before we'll all be cranking the heat while huddled underneath the afghan grandma crocheted, all the while complaining that it's still too cold. (Or is that just me?)
Either way, now's time to take a look at your furnace and your duct work to make sure that when you turn the that thermostat up, you only pay for the heat you're using.

Did you know that you can lose up to 60% of your heat during the winter through bad connections and cracks in your duct work? And that's not even counting what your furnace wastes if it's not kept-up. Now is a great time to call in a professional to take a look.

Making sure your home is in it's best working condition before the really cold weather hits will help ensure that you don't waste a dime on your energy bills this winter!
